I have been 2 doctors and 1 specialist. If I cover my left ear, everything sounds like I'm under water. My eardrum looks good, not evil, finds nothing. However, I still can not hear good. A hearing aid is ineffective. 1 doctor said it could be psychological, but what does this mean?

The last doctor said that only "think" you can not hear. You can use a birth defect have ~ My friend has the same problem, had no nerves in the wall of the right ear, which collect the vibration and noise to be born. Psychological means I do not think that you can not hear, as if everything is in your head (no pun intended )...... You need a doctor, with the feeling that everything can be checked. It could be nerve damage could (severe obstruction of the sinuses like me), or it could be a fundamental issue in other parts of the body. Believe it or not, may make certain forms of systemic disease, you lose your hearing. Continue to look for a solution and not give up.
